To close this thread today I installed the new reman Haldex air dryer. It wasn't too difficult, hardest part was removing the hoses and fittings. A couple of the threads were pretty bunged up on one fitting so I decided to replace all 3. Quick trip to Napa and then finished up. Cranked up engine and watched it purge a couple times, checked for leaks, marked the canister with miles & date, picked up my tools and all done. Thanks all for the tips.
