Check this website out. www.expertdiesel.com
The actual name of the company is Diesel re-man 1-800-310-5096.
They have over 40yrs experience with diesels and specialize in the 8.2L Detroit. The owner Rick, (I think) is a very interesting man to talk with. a complete re-man Detroit is around $7100. good luck on your project!

Our first RV was a tiny Sears trailer with a family size tent in it. Then we graduated to AMF Skamper tent trailer. It had the most sleeping capacity of any RV we have ever owned. It would sleep up to eight. We camped with two adults and two children. We pulled it with a Volvo 164.

After kids moved out, we bought a 1976 Airstream 31' trailer and new 1994 Suburban to pull it. We sold the combo several years ago.

After grandchildren moved away, we bought the 1997' Fleetwood Discovery 37' to visit family. In less than a year, we graduated to the 1997 U295 36'.

Of the RVs we have owned, the Foretravel is the most expensive, and accommodates the the fewest sleepers. It is also the highest quality, most comfortable, and is a great unit for us now.

We have enjoyed all of our RVs.
