Re: IH-45 featured on Destination America TV show Epic RVs Reply #22 – February 19, 2013, 12:02:08 am You all know which of the epic RVs I liked best, and quite a bargain compared to the bus conversions. I particularly liked the interior wood, definitely old school Foretravel quality without unnecessary glitz.I wonder where it is legal to drive that 122' long truck camper with two car garage trailer and boat(s) trailer. I believe the combined length limit here in California is 65 feet. Quote Selected
Re: IH-45 featured on Destination America TV show Epic RVs Reply #23 – March 03, 2013, 06:51:37 pm BumpIt's on again tonight at 10 Eastern time. Destination America has the first 3 segments (Millenium conversion, extremely-long SuperC plus trailer plus boat double tow, and a bus that was done solely for partying) uploaded on their website, but not the IH-45 one yet (I'm keeping an eye on their site.....) Re: IH-45 featured on Destination America TV show Epic RVs Reply #24 – March 03, 2013, 07:28:36 pm Michelle,On the way to Nac in Jan, I had to visit my old bus gang in Arcadia Fl on the way, there was the nicest conversion I have ever touched, was an old Greyhound Senicruiser from the mid fifties, it was a 100% rebuild was 40' now 45.5' was now taller, but no rivets, all one piece skin and the interior was like the latest FT, Newell or even a fancy Prevost, it is to be shown on that same TV program, maybe it already has been. Some folks have plenty money and capabilities.Dave M Quote Selected
Re: IH-45 featured on Destination America TV show Epic RVs Reply #25 – March 03, 2013, 09:24:35 pm Hey, Dave... I was curious... and a with a little Googling, I first found this blogpost on the Scenicruiser conversion: Busforsale.com: The most Amazing Scenicruiser EVER!!!And that led me to this video, with Pat McNeal (the owner) giving a tour, inside and outside. It's very much a "home video" (complete with the camera operator turning the lens sideways! )... but still an interesting look at his amazing restoration:http://youtu.be/zbcT2MCWP_I Quote Selected

The exterior is indeed a work of art. The guy clearly has $$ (but needs to spend a little on a videographer! ) Quote Selected
Re: IH-45 featured on Destination America TV show Epic RVs Reply #28 – March 04, 2013, 09:41:58 pm Just another funny about this guy, he rides around the park on an old Cushman motor scooter, the model before the Eagle, it also run perfect and looked better than new.A class act, This old dog shows better in person as most things do, the quality of the exterior is way above great.Dave M Quote Selected
