Magne Shade on U300

Received our Magne Shade today  :D
Followed the install instructions and what a great quality product....take a look...
Immediately noticed a drop in temps inside the coach and my dash top is way cooler..

Good money spent IMO.

I saw them at FMCA Pomona, I recall hearing something around $500.

I'm considering rolling my own from super magnets and solar screen sold at Home Depot,

You and Rick need to get together and start a business - solar shades and tow skirts What did you do to your coach today. Tow skirt
Thanks for the plug Michelle but I'm having too much fun to be bothered with WORK. I will say that after 30K+ miles of towing the tow skirt is as good as new.
If anyone is interested in super magnets I suggest the neodymium magnets found in computer hard drives or e-bay. They are the most powerful magnets I have experienced.

You can get some great rare earth magnets on Amazon (Applied Magnets® 10 Piece 1/2" x 1/8" with Countersunk Hole Neodymium Disc...) for very reasonable prices, amazing strength.  I'm particularly happy with the ones that have a countersunk hole to screw them to a surface.  Ideal for keeping things attached to walls and for invisible attachment points. One of the projects on my list is a new cover for the kool-o-matic vent that attaches with rare earth magnets and has a layer of insulation between layers of some easy to clean fabric. :-)
