Re: HWH not working Reply #25 – December 02, 2019, 09:55:37 pm Quote from: Want2rv – December 02, 2019, 07:38:20 pmMike, would you please clarify the process to get travel mode locked in without the control box?Charlie,If you were referring to the reply #7 of mine I will see if I can expand a little on what I said. It will be of some help to you to get the HWH control box connection diagram so you can see what you have before you start. When you take the cover off of the control box that is in your basement there will be several harnesses that will need to be unplugged. There will be a 6 wire harness for the front and another 6 wire harness for the back. In both harnesses there will be a grey wire that you will be looking for. The front one will be the 1700 and the rear will be the 3700 wires. Once you find those 2 wires you can take a jumper wire and jump power (12vdc) from the power harness that you will also have to unplug. This harness (the power harness) will have 3 wires, red, yellow, & brown. The red wire will be 6100 from the battery and will be the one that I have jumpered off of. Doing this will open the travel solenoids and you will be on the road. If you want to add a switch to the power line to keep from having to unplug your jumper every time you shut down that will be just fine also. It is also a good idea to add a 7 amp fuse to your jumper line just to err on the side of caution. Hope this is clear as mud. This should be a link to the HWH 600 system that has the prints in it. https://www.hwhcorp.com/ml11148.pdfIf this link don't work there is a copy in the media section here on the Forum also. Re: HWH not working Reply #27 – December 03, 2019, 07:31:22 am Charlie,Sometimes what I see in my brain and what I try to explain to someone through a computer gets garbled up. Now back on task, you can run like this as long as needed to as long as you unhook the power through your jumper when you are finished driving for the day. If you leave the power on you will run the risk of draining down your batteries. The travel coils are made for continuous use so they will be OK and won't know the difference in the jumper and the HWH control box.Mike Quote Selected 2 Likes

Can you buy a new HWH computer? You are insuring the contents of the parcel. Once upon a time I sent a 1930s Western Electric speaker driver to Japan insured for $2,500.Here is a sad but true story about an under-insured parcel. If the vendor had insured the parcel for its full value, al that would have been lost is time. As it turned out, the customer ended up buying his item twice.https://jalopnik.com/how-ups-screwed-a-popular-youtube-car-guy-out-of-10-00-1738255686 Quote Selected

Re: HWH not working Reply #34 – December 18, 2019, 04:12:28 pm I called today and was told it shipped yesterday. No information on what was done. The girl said I would get a paper invoice in the mail. If it doesn't fix it at least I eliminated what couldn't be done at home. Quote Selected 1 Likes
Re: HWH not working Reply #35 – December 24, 2019, 03:22:01 pm Box arrived Sunday, due to rain didn't install until today. All is working as it should. Billing shows a list of parts put in, total price 141.65 I am still on the list to talk to a tech. and will ask what might have caused the problem. I have to hold the manual up arrow while exiting and entering, to clear my gate with the mirror on the right side. If it can cause the issue I had I will manually move the mirror each time we leave. Re: HWH not working Reply #36 – December 27, 2019, 12:56:18 am Update, talked to a tech today and holding the raise button did not cause the diodes to fail, probably age. Now I can go in and out the gate without moving the mirror, just use the raise button. Quote Selected
