Thin Light repairs

Does thin light  still repair fluorescent fixtures  no charge?

I don't know.  I found sources for the ballasts.  Of the 3 I changed 1 is still running, so I switched to LED strips in the Thin Lite housings.

Replace them with LED strip lights. No ballast to worry about. It's cheap. Looks good. Energy efficient.

For me, the new old stock ballasts available didn't cut the mustard.  But Eric & Elena +3, their solution does have a down side.  It's like replacing one piece of chrome trim on our automobile, it makes all the others look that much worse.

I have 3 lights with NOS ballasts, my dinette, hallway and bedroom.  Today I gut and replace the dead bedroom fluorescents and that will take care of my dead lights.  But.  There is such a difference in light color and possibly total lumen output that I want to change them all. Now I purchased the 6,000K daylight LED strips because, well, old eyes.  The warm white leds might not have such a glaring difference.

Ledrvlighting.com. These leds even rotate to direct the light where you want it. Very happy and about $15 bucks per tube

I agree that the new light stands out. It won't be a problem for us as I ordered additional strips and I will change out every light to the LED. I have decided to go with the 3000K LEDs to make it feel a little comfortable. I will experiment with the amount of strips in each location as the intent of the lights very by location.
