We also had a special brake on the juice brake trucks that would lock up all wheels. Engaged it and pushed hard on the brake pedal. The truck would not move. Can't remember the name.

Also used at the dragstrip for stick cars, electrically operated. I thought of putting one on the hyd. clutch of my V-Max drag bike so I could get a better grip on the handle bars when launching.
