So what is more curious is that I do not ever hear the air compressor come on (that is what keeps the air  up and level right) but over 2 to 3 days the coach bags seem to deflate as I notice the wheel getting close to bottoming out.  I then start the engine, bring the air up to when the pressure releases and re level.  Hit the air button twice etc and so the game continues.  any chance this is a compressor issue. How would I tel if the compressor is the culprit??

I let the air out and put it out of level to find out if the compressor working. Better to make out of level front to rear to avoid windshield issue. Mine did work but never has to after I level.

Peter,You may want to look at your 6 packs.  Our coach was doing the same thing and I had been using blocks under frame(8 Blocks) cut to length to keep coach level.  I did this when we were going to be in same spot for extended period.  I overhauled both 6 packs about a month ago and coach has not dropped yet.  When I first did the overhaul the coach was up for over 2 weeks and didn't budge.  I had safety blocks under frame and coach never lowered down to blocks.

Is it easy....doable to replace repair the 6 packs.  Might be a project, if simple enough, to take on

 So once again I am at a loss....I do have this issue with the red light staying on on the HWH but the pad has 4 red lights showing it is level. The tires are about 3-4 inches below the bottom of the coach. After two days my brake air is down to about 60 and the coach has settled on the tires.  I turned on the ignition and checked the HWH and it still shows 4 red lights indicating it is level. I never hear the compressor come on. ( I am hoping I am looking at the right area to listen....right beside the inverter (right??). That is the pump that comes on when I fill tires??? There are no air leaks at the bags or lines  Is this normal ?  Should not the compressor come on to keep the coach above riding right on the tire?  Wow this is getting frustrating!!  Especially since reading the HWH book it says the light should go out and the system and light awaken very 20-30 minutes to check it
I guess my next question is,is it easy to do the 6 packs and..really.. could that be the issue

My take is that if the coach is level as it goes down the compressor would not come on just to keep the coach off the tires. There are stops in the system to keep too much pressure off the tires. But you do have a leak.

My guess is maybe the HWH 6 pack is leaking?  Is that correct? As I asked before, is it doable (what is the difficulty 1-10) to do the 6 pack myself? Is there something on the forum that steps you thru the process? Still confused.......

I found the electric  box with all the HWH fuses etc right away.  Where are the locations for the front and rear 6 packs on a 1998 U320?

Front:  Up high under the coach in the vicinity of the two front brake tanks and the front axel.  May be visible from one of the front wheel wells.

Rear:  Up high under the coach near the rear axel and the wet tank.  May be visible from one of the rear-most access hatches.
