Up date ;  I believe that the Stemco  320- 2181  is also on my axle.  The 4.6 size is to use with the shaft saver sleeve .  In my case ,I can order the same 2181 # and  see if it fits over the sleeve at 4.6 or remove the sleeve and run the seal on the axle plain at 4.5 . 
 The specs  on E bay say 5.378 x 4.5 in.  ;  Stemco 320-2181 Wheel Hub Seal - 5.3890" OD X 4.5000"ID X 0.9750" Wide | eBay
    My # says either 2181 or 2151  on the seal  . 
 FWIW they are really in there and need to be hammered into 3 pieces to remove .

Update: the 2181 box is marked as 4.5 on one box . The specs on line day 4.6 in .
My book shows the hub with a shaft saver sleeve from new.  That would indicate to me that the stemco was OE installed . 
Fitted one today . Looks right and the seal went over the sleeve. Snug enough to maybe go onto the naked shaft.
It takes a bit of time for the hub to fill and settle.
These are my bearing #s if someone would like to add them into the parts list thread.
1987 build date , Oshkosh 917 with 15x4 front brakes and 10 bolt rims.
