Solved? - leveling leak - HUM

:)) Leveling problem might be solved  :D

My darling '99 U320 "Lady Starr Rider" has been thru the riggers here at FOT, she may be 11 years old but she feels like now just a toddler ripping to roll - she and I are anxious to travel, but not far from FOT  ::)

Perplexing was my struggling with the leveling system just seemed something not right, not counting my misunderstanding of it until today and Bob Irelan's talking me thru it and my light bulb went off - the travel ride had been adjusted several times - took forever to level or would go into excessive slop with front end yellow light on and air pressure dropping -

What finally transpired was after taking a lovely "legal drive" on Saturday July 3rd, after getting my perfect score DL's, that evening I heard a "thud" now that sound was close but there were also fireworks going off so I did not know if it was coach related or not, nor did I check any gauges etc - Note, during driving I've been very watchful of all gauges especially the psi since that part is so new to me - Sunday comes goes yet feel the coach rocking when walking thru, just too busy to check anything - Monday morning woke to invasion of ants on the driver's side of the bedroom - ACTION MODE kicks in and the discovery that "herself" is setting flat on her tires "A" with tires bulging - OUCH - PSI rear is not even 40, front is barely 60 - something is amidst, AH the ignorance of new ownership!!!

Fellow FTer's here at Camp FOT told me what to do to get PSI up quickly - we dumped tanks and moved to a more level site in the "staff" section - Pushed the level button, she levels quickly - shut off engine walk to kitchen sink and coach drops, this was all of just seconds - went back to cockpit and psi is 115 each - I though OK enough crap, turned off the levelers went outside to see "herself" setting on her "A" again, tires puffed out - At that point I will not share the discussion she and I had over this laziness -

Today, Wed. 7th we scored a stall with coaches backed up to get in for work - Great KUDO's to Bob Irelan, service tech, he kindly listened to my great lack of terminology and found:
The Rear Drain Valve was leaking, replaced it - Adjusted Ride Height and checked leveling system - took just an hour, but they kept us in bay and monitored the PSI - Bob declared us good for go!!!

Bob also resolved this engine delay button by disconnecting it yet leaving it in place, he felt at some point may want it reconnected or upon selling new owner may like the idea of this button - was very nice to have someone decide for me and I was so pleased.

AH, we can now leave Camp FOT, once all this rain stops we have another day of heavy rain forecast and we declared upon becoming RVer's we stop/don't drive in rain or any version thereof  :)

I'm - Jim says to leave him out of it, he is just along for the ride - very very pleased with the service, friendliness, respect shown/given by the whole staff at FOT. Am extremely please I made that call to Paul Tinkle and purchased my FT at her home  :-*
