Dump valves for older coach (1993)

How the heck do you get to the dump valves. Must you remove every thing in the utility compartment??

The panel behind the faucet is removable by taking out the screws along the outside edge. Remove the pull handles from the stems. Mine came out kinda easily... I'll go look at mine again and add to this message if anything changes, its been over a year since I have been in there.  +  The faucet detaches at the scutcheon plates and the panel comes over the fittings, only 1/2 of the panel is removable(the right half) and that exposes the two dump valves.  ;D

Gerry, While you are in that panel fixing dump valves do yourself a favor and ADD a water fill valve that cannot fail.  I used a plastic fitting into the side of the fresh water tank and added a piece of tubing and a garden hose type connector so that I can fill directly in to the water tank thus bypassing all the other piping.  I can now fill in about 15 minutes. Do a search and you will see photos that BILL W> added.
Good luck

In purchasing our lovely FT here at FOT after several weeks I decided the black tank valve was leaking and would have both valves replaced -

Again to my being very impressed with the shop staff here at FOT, Alton the shop foreman suggested a secondary manual valve located just at the hose connection - This is an excellent idea -

I had new 12v valves installed + the manual one - our lovely gal is 11 yrs old and should expect these valves needing replacing - better to do ahead of time than waiting for a failure - took afternoon job and was good deal  :))
