This product works on fuel filters that are on the suction side of your fuel lift pump. It is more needed on a suction filter as the only "push" through the fuel filter is atmospheric pressure which BTW is less in high elevations like the Western US mountain states. Pressure side filters are able to run longer as the "push" through the filter is the lift pump pressure output.
