Satellite TV reception far up in Alberta

Our new Winegard SK-3005 open dish HD satellite antenna is working in Fort McMurray Alberta, 600 miles north of the US border.
While our signal strength is only 50-70, we can watch our favorite TV shows.
The dish is aimed lower to the horizon than when in the US, but not as low as when in Alaska.

Interesting that it works.  I was talking to a guy from Alaska and his dish was bigger than mine. He told me In Alaska they use 2 1/2 foot dishes instead of our 12 inch dish and it would be aimed almost straight out not up.
