Atwood Hot Water Heater

The control board on my water heater I think is going bad, it is inconsistent when trying to relight. It is a G10-3E with a board number 93867 propane only. There is a universal version called Dinosaur UIB- S about 1/2 the price. Just wondering if anyone  has used it. The original board is cracked and has a brownish spot on it. I have disconnected all the connections, cleaned & coated with di-electric grease but I don't trust it.

About 10 years ago , my 1st motorhome (Class C 96 Jamboree) had same problem.  I replaced it with a Dinosaur board, and it worked great.  At the time I just ordered it direct from Dinosaur (in their early days), but this practice may have changed and these boards are sold by retailers.  I would recommend their products.

Dinosaur circuit boards for furnace, refrigerator & hot water heater and

Onan generators are recommended over OEM.

In the case of furnaces, they have improved circuits to not run blower motor if ignition fails.

They are better made and cost less.
