12 V air compressor not working

I have a 02 U320 and it seems the 12 volt air compressor has stopped working. I have checked the 30 amp breaker which is not tripped. There is a 5 amp fuse in the wiring system that is ok. There is a black snap connector also in the wiring system that is not connected to anything and I cannot locate the other end of this connector. This mystery connector has a label acc and solenoid. Any help ? can't find any manual. Thanks John

How do you know it is not working?
There is a pressure switch on the compressor that activates it.
Are you sure the air is low enough to trigger the pressure switch?
