B/W Backup camera

Has anyone rebuilt the original backup cameras ?  Can you  clean, seal and regas the camera module ?

If you have the Javelina camera, it is a sealed box system and nitrogen filled. After removing it from the coach, I found no way to repair it and they are very expensive to replace with original equipment. There are a number of really nice after market cameras, some including 7" LCD monitors for considerably less money. Search the archives for backup camera posts. You should find a lot of information.

You might want to get a new camera.  You can get color and better resolution for not a lot of money at RV Cams.com.  They are in Louisiana and have helped a number of forum members.
