Another air leak...

Fixing the slide regulators wasn't enough. We had another leak that was causing the auxiliary compressor to run frequently. While doing a lube today, I could hear air leaking from behind the front axle. The farther forward I went the louder it got. I finally traced it to some device that has three air lines going to it; one larger than the other two. It is at the left front and is almost impossible to reach. Location is higher than and just to the driver's side of the generator. The three lines run forward to connect to this device. The larger line is in the middle. The one that is leaking is on the street side and is about 3/8" I think. I can just reach this line through the front drivers side bay. It is leaking at the quick connection. I was able to wiggle it a bit and tried to push it in. I can no longer hear air escaping, but it does blow bubbles. The pressure has been holding at about 120 psi for about 3 hours and that is a big improvement.
It is so tight and deep I can't get a photo, although I may try another day.
Would it help the take this line out of the quick connect and reinsert it?
Any suggestions on how to stop this leak completely? Anyone know what this device is?
Thanks.

That would be my first step.
You might cut off a piece of the end of the hose so you have a clean end.

Dick;
    Excuse me for asking,but,I assume that you have your coach raised up to the high position AND have the safety blocks in place. Important especially when working on air lines.

Ouch! No safety blocks. Thanks for the reminder, I will be more careful in the future.
Thanks Barry, I'll try that. It will be hard to reach in there and cut the end off that line. Maybe I'll haver to get a tubing cutter.

Probably might have to go underneath the coach after it is blocked.
