1998 limited u320

I have a loud creak coming from where the tile kitchen floor meets the living room carpet.  I does not appear to be a bulk head issue.  The creak occurs during acceleration or deceleration but not over bumps or rough road.  Any idea where it occurs or how to fix it?

You could be having a subfloor problem.  Start by removing a portion of the carpet to see if you have a soft/weak panel below.  Does it do the same noise if you stand on it?

From time to time I hear a "creak" or "low frequency groan" that lasts a second or so when the transmission shifts to a higher gear - perhaps even only when it shifts to 6th gear.  1999 40ft no tag U320. MOT looked at bulkhead last March and made minor repairs and painted.
 
Any ideas?

Our 1997 U 320 has made the same noise, creak, and or moan, when it shifts to fourth gear. Only, and always, going onto fourth gear. The previous owner told me about it. It had always done this with him. It has been the same for the eight plus years we have had our coach. It last for a split second. But always when shifting into fourth gear. It is no louder, or longer, just still there. It has long past the worry stage. I now have to listen, to hear if it's still making the noise.
