New Peninsula windows

Those who have ordered their own Peninsula windows:

How did you measure motorhome window opening without removing current windows?

Could you please email me your height, width, thickness & radius measurements so I can compare what I find.  (foretraveler@gmail.com )

We are choosing to keep T-slide for driver, copilot & kitchen.  Frame series 1800, Black Marine Power-coat & clear glass.
Any other comments on your new windows are also appreciated.  Do you like the window lock?

Thank you, Barry & Cindy

Barry,
I have all that info and we ordered ours directly from Peninsula/Motion in Vancouver, WA.  The Peninsula/FT account manager was great with us.
My info is on the coach at the warehouse, so I will have to retrieve it this afternoon.
To measure the widows (You must establish your new window I.D., +,- 1/8", and then you own the window once it is built), I took the inner bezel off of the entry door and the curbside LR windows.  I measured  the through-wall thickness and the old Creation windows' I.D., height and width.  I verified that both had the same width outer flange all around the window, and that both were the same depth.  I then assumed (correctly) that this fact would hold true for all of the remaining windows.
We choose the new style, full width, copilot vertical slide that lifts versus slides fore and aft.  I like it but would stay with the original style, but would have it made a couple of inches taller to the fixed/movable separation, if I were to have the choice over again. We went with the taller version T-slides on the driver and kitchen windows and I like them much better than the new up/down co-pilot slide design.
We have the series 1800, Marine Black Powder Coat and the standard (darkest, I think) FT tint.  The tint is perfect for daytime privacy and has no noticeable tint from inside looking out.  It also upgrades exterior appearance very dramatically.
We also like the window ease of motion and the window lock design tremendously.  Curb-side and street-side lock motion is reversed, so dyslexia might trouble some, I would imagine.
Unlike the Creation windows, if the window is open at turnpike speeds, the screens tend to rattle slightly.  We fix that by opening the screen as well, but some might not like that.  I figure it will be a talented bug that can overcome the slipstream and make it into the moving coach.  Then we close the screens when we get off the turnpike.  Up to 55 MPH, they are quiet.
The most enjoyable benefit (of the dozens), we didn't even anticipate.  The coach is dramatically more quiet with the Peninsular windows and the superior seals, than it was with the Creation windows (which most likely became gradually noisy over many years so we attributed the change to the overall age of the coach versus the Creation windows' sealing compound deterioration.
Feel free to pm me, if you would like further info or we can always resort to cell phones.
Regards,
Neal

I had all my windows changed out a few years back at peninsula glass.
we went by the factory and let them take the measurements.  we then
went back three weeks later for the installation, which took about 8 hours.
we also opted for the dark glass.  they have a place to park with power
and water.  we are very happy with the motion windows.
