Which fuel pump to buy for my genset?

I have a 1980 Class A 33ft. Does ANYONE know what replacement fuel pump I would need for the generator? The pump looks aftermarket and seems to run ( makes noise ) but pulls no fuel, not even from the bottom of a jar. I think its safe to assume its bad

Sorry! Its Gas. Kohler offers repair manuals on their site but my model isnt listed ( not surprised ). It has a Facet 40-104 on it but I read they shouldnt be used if more than 12 inches of line is below them. Maybe thats why this one burnt out considering it is mounted on top of the genset and the fuel line comes in below the genset which equals more than 12 inches... I may relocate the next one.

When my Onan pump quit in my old Winnegabo I went to ORiley's and asked if they had a pump that might work.  They gave me a pump for a older small block GM with carb.  Cut the metal line and plumbed it in with a fuel hose.  Wired it to the old fuel pump wire and it is still going strong.  Gave the RV to my kids and they don't use it much, but run the lights in the barn where it is parked off the generator at least a couple of times a week.

You need the low pressure pump,  3-4 psi MAX.
Most auto pumps make way too much pressure.
