Anyone add insulation behind the front cabinets?

I have an air core aluminum foil cover for the windshield (cut and taped together to fit from a large roll bought at Home Depot) that is easy to install and works very well when the coach faces south --- but --- I still get a lot of heat in the area above the windshield into the cabinets that works its way into the coach.

Yes, that's a big air space which works as insulation but with all the room behind the cabinets it seems natural to add insulation.

Same goes for the side cabinets but haven't noticed it as much because of the awnings.

Has anyone ever added foam, fiberglass or other insulation up there and what was the result?

I have filled that space with rolled up bubble wrap sheets.
Yes it helps tremendously.
That was a great source of heat in my coach.
When the temps gets this high I also put the aluminum bubble wrap sheets on the windows facing the sun.
It cuts down on the light but it cuts the heat much more.
My A/C cannot keep up in this heat, so we try everything to reduce it.
Leaving tomorrow for 4 corners rally.
