Noise Insulation in bedroom

This past weekend DW and I traveled to NY and back home to Va.  DW slept a lot of the trip, and her comment was to see if I could make the engine more quiet in the bedroom.

SO the question is, Has anyone found an good sound attenuation material to add around the side walls and under the bed ?

First time she actually took a trip in our 3 yr old (to me) coach.

Thanks
Dave

Sprayable polyurethane closed cell rigidi foam.  Most larger truck garages have the equipment to spray it on.  They will have to do it from underneath and with the bed down, but it should be doable.

The best you can do is to apply a sound blocking foam, which is two layers of foam separated by a lead-filled vinyl sheet ("mass-loaded vinyl").  Sound absorbing foam applications will not help much at all, since the source of the sound is powerful and very low frequency.    I think a sound blocking foam is what's on our 99, but the additional trick is that it has to be fire retardant.
 Some examples: http://www.soundprooffoam.com/ultra-barrier-plus.html

Later FT coaches that I've looked at seem to be using a quilted blanket of some type, and I would guess that it's more flame proof but maybe not as good a sound barrier.  Perhaps putting the quilted covering over the sound blocking foam would be a solution.

Dave, mine is pretty quiet running down the road. I wonder what is different. Take a  picture from the rear of the coach and post it here.  DO you have the original carpet and sound deadening pad under it in the bedroom. IF not then that is one of the big reasons you could have noise. That sound deadening heat resistant under pad is very expensive now. I priced it at about 100 dollars a square foot. I reused mine instead of installing new in the bedroom when I put in new carpet.
