Coolant for V692 Detroit engine

What type of coolant is best for a 2cycle Detroit engine in my 93, U300? Do I need additives or can I use standard automotive coolant?

Kent,

Suggest you contact Tegas Bus at: http://www.tejascoach.com/tejasoil.html  for coolant,  coolant filter, anode info. They put millions of miles on DDs and have the field experience to answer just about any question you might have.

Peirce,

What a fascinating and educational site.  I had never seen it before.  Lots and lots of good information.  And it is really fun to look at the interior photos of some of the nicer buses.

Thanks for sharing.  Makes we wonder how many other sites are out there that I do not know about?
