Questions on FT coaches

We are FT wantabees and have been reading this Forum with great interest. I cannot find information from users of the HWH Active Air system. I have looked at the HWH web site and reviewed their information, but what I'm looking for is ACTUAL users of this system and their PROs and CONs about it.. thanks

I asked HWH when I was there about that very thing. I have an 01 and it is not and IFS coach and HWH told me that unless I had an IFS front end then Active Air would not be a benefit to me. It allows the IFS coach to handle like the straight axle coaches when it comes to stability and handling.  THere are not many of them out there so you will not find too much written on it.

We have a 2009 Phenix and we bought it without the active air as foretravel was still testing it. we drove it for several miles on secondary roads and decided we wanted this installed.This was the best move on our part as the handling improved greatly. the best part is on secondary roads to prevent constantly having to fight the wheel. it is great, try one ifs without and see. We do not drive on a lot of secondary roads, but occasionally we do.  However in 14 months of full-timing neither Sandy or I can think of one time where we had to fight the wheel.  There are times we fight for the wheel, however, since we both like to drive.

Jim, thanks for the reply on the HWH system. You indicated that the handling was greatly improved which is great.  Did the ride quality improve or remain the same?

What equipment did HWH have to add to your coach for the active ride system? Air bags? Air tanks? air lines.. etc.?
