Need controller for dash gauges

I had some wiring work done by a mobile tech. By mistake he shorted out the controller for the dash gauges. The gauges work for the most part except the "milage/trip" and "engine hours".
Called FOT, they no longer use or know where to get the controller, or gauges.
This is for a 2001 U320.
Has anyone replaced their gauges with new and still have the old that they would sell?
The controller is marked:988L Controller.
Any ideas, leads or suggestions are welcomed.

Thanks for the info guys. I called them today. They don't have one and did not have another source to try. I'm still looking.
Next I'm trying Silver Leaf to see if anyone changed out their gauges and left them behind. I was told that Dale is the one to contact. However, he is out of the office until Monday. I did ask them about their dash and its cost installed. Thought I'd have a heart attack. 12K, give or take a few bucks,for digital gauges, dash plate and installation.
Again, I'm still looking.

Dave, I have a 2001 U320. The controller is located behind the gauges and is marked "988L Controller".
All the gauges plug into it.

The panel I have sez: 42-61041 Foretravel Inc, (06/01)
(00-1068) S/W Gauge Panel
Javelina Corporation 14805 King Road, Frisco TX 75034 ph numbers

All gauges are VDO electronic and the wiring goes mainly to a large plug with 7 connections (of 11). There is no controller with it. I snagged it only because John was planning on pitching it with no takers.

My 01 has stewart warner gauges that they no longer make that setup and there are no more. I know I had to put in mechanical Air gauges when my electronic ones went on the fritz. I would call mike rogers at MOT and see what they suggest. Or call James Triana and see his suggestion. I know they can always rewire the whole thing at the factory but that might cost as much as the new silverleaf.

Oh Yes, a new Silverleaf Glass Dash will solve all the problems, I have been talking with them in Oregan, they will fly in to your location, install the new digital dash, for about $12 K,, $10 for display plus expenses, so about $12-$13K should get it done.

Dave, my gauges are Stewart Warner and from what I was told that they are not compatible with other makes of gauges. Thanks for your reply.

John, that's the same info (noting available) I get so far with everyone I've talked to. I haven't given up looking. Eventually I'll find a solution. I guess I'll start contacting RV salvage yards. However, it appears from what I've seen and heard about on this forum is that no body totals out a Foretravel. They just keep working on them and keeping them like new and enjoy them.

You might want to check out Silverleaf's VMSpc. It can provide you all the engine and transmission parameters you want and more. Takes info from engine diagnostic plug and translates it for display on a laptop. Considerably cheaper than a new glass dash.

And the read out on your computer screen is a whole lot easier to read than the gauges on your existing dashboard.

Since the gauges are built into the dash, would it possible to do a complete swap out - put the '02 dash in Jon's '01? Much wiring/connector changing involved? Just wondering if that could be an option.

I think Johns C. 2002 Dash Board uses a different controller than Jon's 2001.
Dave said he does not have the controller for John C. Dash Board.
But maybe John C. controller is available from foretravel.
