bypass lube oil system

dose anyone have a bypass filter system on there rig? If so is it doing any good? Who is the mfg. I'm thinking of installing a Baldwin b7577 filter with a pressure tap at the oil pressure sending unit and a return to the lube oil fill ca.

Actually, the oil lubrication system and components they lubricate on any modern diesel engine will likely outlast most other components in an RV, even a Foretravel.

Save your money-- just change oil and filter annually or at mileage recommended for your engine.

If you plan to put over half a million miles on the coach, it MIGHT be something to look into.

Fully agree with Wolfe10, and Some Cummins FleetGuard filters have the bypass filter built into the spin on filter, If you were to check the specs on your filter you might find it has the bypass already.
Usually easy to spot due to the BIG price on the filter. :)
