Oregon Motorcoach Center now a FT Authorized Warranty Center, offers MC discount

Just saw this on FT's website.

Note that they will honor MC discount on parts/service as well.  A good option for the PNWers.

Foretravel and Oregon Motorcoach Center Enter Into Service Agreement


Foretravel, Inc, Nacogdoches, TX and Oregon Motorcoach Center, Eugene, OR has formed a service alliance.  OMC, a premier service and remodeling center in the Pacific Northwest and Foretravel's highly regarded factory service center in East Texas, have entered into a service agreement involving Country Coaches and Foretravels.  Oregon Motorcoach Center will offer Foretravel Motorcade Club Members the same 10% parts and labor discount for service work as Foretravel does.  And, Foretravel will also provide the same 10% Country Coach Club discount that the former Country Coach LLC offered its members.

OMC will also be a factory authorized warranty service center for Foretravel.  OMC was started by Bob Lee three years ago to provide excellent service to its Country Coach owners after the manufacturer curtailed operations.  Pat Mason and Ed Read, co-owners and longtime Country Coach senior officers recently visited Foretravel to better understand its manufacturing, service, parts and warranty processes.  This service alliance will include an exchange of parts and technical support.

Note:  Proof of club membership must be shown prior to commencing service work.

This is what they were talking about at the Grandvention. It is a good deal for the guys up in the PNW as there has not been a authorized service center for a long time and a good thing for FT as the CC guys will be going to the factory for service. According to Lyle and Greg, they will have some dedicated bays for CC and it will nto affect lead times for FT owners.

That is going to help all of us on the West Coast not to have to drive all the way to Nac so often. 8) :D

I had the opportunity to have some work done at OMC. I met Bob Vincent the service manager and was pleasantly surprised that he fit me in the next day as I was on my way home. I asked how many Foretravels have they serviced since the alliance and he said I was the 3rd. I think Foretravel picked the right company to do the alliance with. All the staff are very professional and friendly and made me feel right at home. They have 50 amp spaces if you need to stay the night. If you are on the West Coast and cant make it to the mothership in TX I can certainly recommend OMC.  I have added their info in the links section. Their website is Oregon Motor Coach Center

Before you ask "Can we stay in the coach" while they work on it, the answer is no. But they are very accommodating if you need to talk to the tech or get something in it.  :(

In early August we were in the Eugene/Junction City area looking at an 07 CC affinity.  I requested the coach be taken to Oregon Motorcoach for evaluation of possible repairs.  We contacted Bob Vinson and he asked us to come in after lunch.  The dealer took the coach to Oregon for us and the evaluation was done; afterward, Bob sat down and reviewed the report with us talking about items needing attention, including a couple we might have updated.  Bob then took us out into the facility and introduced us to the tech who went thru the coach.  They both showed us what the items were, what was needed, & what it would take to repair.  The tech reviewed the two update items as well.  We were extremely pleased with attention to detail and thoroughness these people provided.  The cost of the inspection was quite reasonable.  The staff we interacted with were professional & concerned about our comfort & well being while at their facility.
If we lived in the area, OM would be our repair facility of choice.
