Instrument panel questions

Hi Everybody,

While vacuuming all of the dust under the instrument panel dash, I can across two rocker switches that I are not labeled.  The two switches I'm speaking about are in the upper right corner of the attached picture.  Does anybody know what these are for?  I don't want to push them not know what the consequences would be.  Also, is the right hand side of the instrument panel lighted?  I only ask, because when driving at night, I am unable to see the labels for the blend, fan, or mode switches.  ???  I could have sworn I saw the panel light up for a quick second one night, but as I was concentrating on the road ahead, maybe I saw what I was hoping for, not what was actually happening.  Does that make sense?

On another note, is FOT the best place to source the "L" shaped window locks?

More cleaning tomorrow, followed by replacing of the Genset fuel lines.  If I get wedged between the coach and propane tank, I'll remember to yell really loud.  :D

Brian,

The switches are used to get a diagnosis from the Webasco brakes.  However, when pressed simultaneously they shoot a laser guided stream of bear spray onto "smokies" who make wrongful stops.

The blue lights you saw around the dash will come on when driving at night with headlights.

Can't help with the L lock question. So I guess I'd better get the L out of here.

One is for ABS diagnostic codes the other should be engine diagnostic codes.
ABS Troubleshooting

You can get the plastic window locks (Red or Black) at FOT.

Our dash controls are also back lit and the outer edges of the dash are lit as well.  I had to have the dash inverter changed in 2003 when we purchased the coach.

I wish the 1G SmatWheel also had lit controls...but not.

My '95 U320 has back lighting for the HVAC controls.  Bulbs are on brackets so are obvious.  I think they may be disconnected (mine were) as they are pretty bright.  Fix could be a rheostat or just some brown paint to dull them down.
