More problems solved at Foretravel plant

Wow--these guys are good. We are still here at the plant.
1. Had water heater fixed--thermocouple and broken bayonet connector--now have hot water.
2. Front end had caster at 11/32" toed out--should be and now is 1/16" in. Handling is great now.
3. Wayne in the alignment shop knows these old GVs and showed me where the valve is that controls the heat flow up front. It is in the cupboard under the sink and behind our icemaker. We now have heat and wont freeze when we have to return to WI.
4. Cruise control still does not work but repair and installation was done by Kings Campers so they have to get it right when we get home.

Our stay at FOT was concurrent with Nitehawk being there. We took some time to tell each some great stories. Many of them were probably true.  ;)

Wayne performed front end alignment that made a big difference for the better. I would recommend against using one alignment "shop" in Lufkin, TX. We were charged for an alignment there last spring. We saw no difference in performance. Wayne saw no evident of any wrenches having touched the steering parts in recent history. After Wayne lined up our coach, the improvement was remarkable. Marilyn's comment, "Wow! I don't have to always push with my right arm to keep it on the road." My reply, "Uh-huh, and I don't have to pull with my left arm to keep in in the lane."

Wayne also replaced the leaking wheel bearing seals that he found, and fixed some preheat parts in the generator. He diagnosed that generator autostart didn't work because it had been removed. Doh! No wonder I couldn't get it to work, nor could I find the controller in order to work on it.

In the shop, they fixed a transmission leak, removed the excess transmission fluid introduced by overfill on a previous service, fixed oil seep from the oil pan, replaced a squeaky belt, and replaced a cracked belt.

I was impressed with the friendliness and performance on the folk there. Staying with the coach for service was good. We met a lot of good employees, and fellow Foretravelers.

Wish they were closer to me.  And I love this comment "After Wayne lined up our coach, the improvement was remarkable. Marilyn's comment, "Wow! I don't have to always push with my right arm to keep it on the road." My reply, "Uh-huh, and I don't have to pull with my left arm to keep in in the lane."  Good alignment guys like that are hard to find.
