Tank Gauges, Part Deux

OK, I got to my tanks today but didn't find anything that resembled what I expected (parallel aluminum tapes). I'm thinking the 225 uses another system. On this rig, there is no access to the tanks from below so I had to remove a panel (another story there) to expose the tanks. As you can see in these photos, the tanks have what looks like four sensors and a ground. Anyone know how to proceed to check and see why they don't work. The connections all look good. Oh, after screwing around for awhile, the black tank inexplicably registered 1/4 (it's empty). Thanks.

Since I wasn't getting any nibbles here I wrote James Triana about troubleshooting this system. Here's his reply. Thanks, James.

Attaching all wires together will make the system read full, start removing one at a time and system will decrease.
The wires do have diodes in them. Check with a multimeter for opens.

I am very impressed that you got an email from James.  Not that he isn't helpful.  He is very helpful.  Most of us have reached him by phone.  Care to share the email address?
