   I went from a 1978 GMC Royale to my FT. The second owner only kept the FT for a few months and secured another FT with slides.  A DW inspired decision I'm sure.
    My decision was based on wanting the best .

I am the third owner of this FT, my 3rd coach, and I was the 1st owner of both of my previous SOB coaches.

I am 2nd owner it appears. I will never be the first owner of a Motor Home, Boat or my personal  vehicle, I am far to thrifty to take the depreation hit on anything that depreaciats (sp) quickly.

I agree completely!  However it's not that I'm thrifty. It's that I am the originator of the Poortravel Club for a reason. And I like the old stuff better.

I agree 2/3. Haven't bought a new car in years, but with 10 year warrenties, 0 % financing and high prices for used cars I bought a new GMC 10 days ago...and, it will probably be our last car.

I do like what Pat did at 90. That is inspiring. I hope he buys another new one and wears it out as well.

As best I can tell we are the 2nd owners of our coach we have owned it 5 yrs, it is our 6th RV and 4th M/H. It may however give way to a 5th wheel in the next year or so, me thinks they are more cost efficitive as a live abord than a MH when staying in one place for long periods.
