King Dome kicks in when lite turned on

For the last three weeks whenever a light is turned on (12 volt lites) the King Dome seek function activates. It worked fine before that. Also, now the green light on the volt meter/polarity indicator on the wall no longer lites up. The plate reads: "Absence of light indicates no ground connection." So where should I check for the ground being off?
1989 GV ORED coach with a new converter and all lights are 12 volt.

I would start with the 12V ground connection to the converter. With any new problem I always check the last thing changed first. It's possible that the ground side of the 12V system in the converter is faulty but check the ground connection first.
