ISM 450 up to 500

I now have the rest of the story on this matter after having done one upgrade to the 500, and finding it not workable due to computer alarms due to lack of a module that controls the fuel and boost.
So to do the proper upgrade to 500 /1550 settings, requires both a bypass turbo and the controller. the good part is the wiring harness is already there and waiting for the module, then the computer can communicate with it. The bypass turbo will provide greater boost at lower rpm and bypass at higher rpm as needed, controlled by the new controller. Uses the same ECM, just different program.
This will make same as the 2004 ISM setup, was able to get the needed info from Foretravel via Lance.
Cummins assures me the fuel burn will be no worse as long as drive the same, should be little better due to the new style turbo, but with heavier foot, yes it will use more fuel.
Material is on order, Cummins will do entire job in about a week from now.

The bad is the price, but I am playing and depriving the Salvation Army and SPCA.
