Winegard problem

Took the 93 GV to the lake for the first time this year and, of course, there is always something that broke during the winter.  I replaced the TV last year and everything was working great when I parked it.  Now I have no video to the TV.  I noticed the power button on the Winegard Video Center in the back appears to not be getting power and it has to be on for anything to work.  I pulled the panel and the only items on the circuit board are 3 switches. VCR record, power, and TV switch, one resister and an LED light.  I probed the board and no power anywhere.  I pulled the panel in the closet and all the wires go down except the coax which goes up toward the roof.  This is the only system I don't have any documentation on.  I looked all over the coach and can't figure out where the coax switch or the power supply is located or any fuse that said Winegard.  I know there is an outside cable connection somewhere because the previous owner has a long coax in the compartment with the spare tire but I havn't located that either.  Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check you GFI breaker.

If I have one, I don't know where it is.  Why would they GFI the Winegard and nothing else.  Everything else is working including the new microwave.  From the wire size and LED, I suspect it is DC coming to the panel.

I think that your unit is discontinued but I am sure someone knows how to troubleshoot it there.  When I called about a problem they were very helpful.

My Winegard antenna did fail and had to be replaced.  At the time I thought it failed because I was parked near an antenna farm at Dallas, but it was just old age and corrosion on the circuit board inside the antenna head.  You might try a set of rabbit ears in place of the antenna to see if that is the problem.
