Battery replacement

As in previous posts, our coach needs one set of house batteries replaced. Currently, Ruby is in storage, and I shut off both inverters approximately 10 days ago. Chassis batteries are on trickle charger. To reiterate, this coach has 2 inverters powered by 3 Northstar AGM batteries each. One bank of batteries is definitely bad, the others seem fine. I have received shipment of 3 brand new North Stars, and intend next week to bring the coach to my home and replace them. I am concerned about driving the coach home and causing undo load on the alternator/isolator as it attempts to charge this bad bank of 3 batteries. My question is, am I better off turning the inverters/chargers back on to facilitate whatever charge is possible on these bad batteries before starting the coach and possibly damaging alternator/isolator, both of which were replaced last year? I would disconnect the negative (ground) terminal to the bad battery bank. This way the alternator is not working to charge that set of batteries. This assumes you are able to disconnect this battery bank.
