PC Fix

Maybe not FT related but...
My Desk top monitor quit, switch would not stay in ON position.
Removed casing from monitor and found simple PUSH ON PUSH OFF switch soldered to main board.  Since I have zero competence on soldering and PC boards I opted for  red neck fix.
I took a small WIRE TIE, Removed face of switch and from the rear wire tied switch in ON position.  I Know its a waste of electricity to leave monitor on 24/7 but the cost of electricity is probably less than a new monitor.

Gary, don't you have all your computer components on a surge suppresser? If so, just turn off the monitor using the surge suppresser switch.
