Air venting noise near Hydraulic Accumulator

Proud new owner of a 1997 U295 40' as of June 2010. We have been learning a lot and enjoying it even more. This last week I noticed an air leaking sound coming from what appears to be a valve located in front of the Hydraulic Accumulator. I believe this is associated with the retarder. The air continuously vents when the coach is on. Does anyone have any ideas? Is there any way to troubleshoot the air valve? Thanks Gary DSCN1562.JPG

Yes it s and it should not leak.  You will hear a bit of air escape when you turn it on then off but that is it.
