Tire Traker

 :)

Having bought and installed a new Tire Traker, and having made one short trip with it, I am impressed!

It required no repeater with our 40 footer and so far it appears to be just what I was looking for: a system to monitor the tires on the toad (I have had 3 flats over the years and damaged two wheels.)

Camping World is selling this item, but at $279 plus tax. Buying direct from the factory it is $219 with free shipping and no tax. For that price, it comes with 4 tire sensors. Batteries for the sensors are cheap and easy to replace.

Now, if it just would interface with the VMS PC...

Thanks for the report, Duane!  We've been considering a toad monitor as well and this gives us another option to consider.

Duane,

Come back in about 10 days and tell us if you have any leaks.  The four sensors on my Honda drive me nuts.  I resorted to Teflon tape and that seems to help.  Others here have mentioned similar problems.  When these batteries die, I am going to buy the Tire Traker system.

I too, bought and installed the Tire Traker system in January of this year.  I bought eleven sensors (have one on the Jeep spare tire) and the hard-wired booster.  Everything has worked great!!  I purchased from a dealer in the big tent out in Quartzsite.
The reasons I choose the TireTraker; less initial cost, end user replaceable batteries in the sensors, smaller footprint for the display, smaller tire sensor. With a sensor on the Jeep spare, I have a known good spare if I have a problem with any of the others.
George, I haven't had any leaks.

I bought our Doran 360 TPMS from Daryl in 2008 and he is a good person to do business with. Haven't been that happy with our system and plan on buying the Tire Traker from him if any more sensors die.
