Basement electric door lock replacement.

Dear Foretravel folks

I need to replace a basement door electric door lock. The original electric door lock has no company name on them. I removed the back and found a stripped nylon gear. I know that I can not replace the gear. So I need to replace the whole electric door lock.

Dose anyone have a idea who made these electric door locks?

Thank you for any information    Karl

The company that produced the door lock is no longer in business. Foretravel sells a replacement that installs very easy using existing hardware. Just replaced two but don't remember price as they were shipped with other items. Glad to answer any question if needed.    Gordy

Ours were replaced last spring and we discovered the new ones were wired reverse of the original (locking when they should unlock and vice versa).  A simple fix but a pain to find out after the fact.  Check first before buttoning things up.
