New King Controls TV Antenna

I need to replace the gears for the batwing.  I found the new King Controls TV antenna on the web which could be a replacement for the Winegard.  Anyone know anything about this unit?
 
My only reservation about it is that it is stationary in its vertical position (it does rotate) of 12 inches.  Any low hanging branches in the parks we visit may knock the antenna and do some damage.
