Slide Room Not Pinning.

On Sunday when I was leaving the North Atlantic Rally , the LR slide came in but the pins went down an inch and stopped. Did not pin though the pump was running. I swapped the two room in sensors and got the room to pin. I am at HWH right now and they can not figure out why the pins stopped and the pump kept running as it should not do that.

It is a first generation slide in an 01 and I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what was done to fix it....

Hi John, I have had the same problem several times. It has always been on uneven ground. I manually put the coach off level  either L or R ,recycle the room, and the pins always go in.

Interesting. HWH says the pins hanging down can't do what I saw.  So you unleveled the coach and it pinned is what you are saying.

Yes . The next time it happens, walk outside and see if the room is flush with the sidewalls of the coach. You may need to readjust the room sliders on the floor. Gary O
