Allison Transmission Filter New Numbers ?

Today I went to the local Allison Dist. with the filter kit # 29526898 and was given kit # 29548988 for the 4" sump.  Just wondering if this sounds correct to others.  I thought the filters were larger, but appear to be just a pair of identical filters, so why the question ?  Apparently this is a very common kit as they had about a dozen of the kits sitting on the counter.
Price about for filter kit about $50.00 and TranSynd at $31.00 gal.  Sound about right ?

Dave,
That is the filter (P/N 29548988) I bought a few months ago and I paid $48.  I did find Mobil Delvac for $28 a gallon, but I did buy 20 gallons for the complete change over.  I'm going to wait for 18 months before I do the second change, as I do not feel I gain anything by changing in six months.

Me too. On 5/31/11 I had filters changed at Pacific Power in Ridgefield, WA. The part # was 29548988 and they quoted $52.67.
