Unidentified Objects
If anyone can help me identify what these are, if they need serviced, etc I would be extremely grateful...
Pic 1 - I believe the blue spin filter is the coolant filter - 9N3368? I've not been able to find a PN on it that'll reference to anything on the web, but about a third of it is hidden from me by other things and I just can't get to it to see. Also, does anyone know what the dirty looking canister slightly above and to the left is? These pics are taken from underneath the side back engine bay opening.
Pic 2 & 3 - This pic is taken from the very back engine compartment opening where the radiator is. I have no clue what this canister is or what its function is. For another reference point, it sits directly above the blue spin filter in Pic 1 (which until someone tells me otherwise I'm assuming is the coolant filter).
Pic 4 - So is this where I install a new air filter - AC A221C or equivalent? Is the air filter seriously this massive? :-)
Again, thanks in advance for any comments someone might have for a newbie. I promise once I get this stuff down I'll stop asking questions and starting imparting any knowledge I've learned from you all to other newbies. Countdown to fluid overhaul is 2-3 weeks. Cost for engine oil, coolant, transmission fluid, generator oil, and all associated filters is right at $1000. OUCH! I figure these are the important ones to get to first, then I move on to the differential, greasing the chassis, power steering, brake check, and whatever else I've missed. With all the maintenance these things require, who has time to enjoy them? ;-)
