Adjustment of 3 side mirrors?

I just finished watching the Better RVing video on adjusting sideview mirrors.  It only covered the 2 headed side mirrors (flat and convex).  What is the third mirror used to view? How is it adjusted?  I'd appreciate any good input from those who have the triple headed sideview mirrors.

Top convex shows whole area. Middle flat shows side out, bottom convex points down low and out to show the blind spot by the front wheel.

MarK,
The very top, smaller mirror is an add-on and should point nearly straight down to cover the blind-spot area at the front corner of each side.  It is purely manual.  I use a step-stool to get up there and gently push it into position.  You might check the mirror's adhesive attachment, as mine were barely being held by the original adhesive.  So, I pulled them off, cleaned off the old glue and put new waterproof stuff on about 6 years ago and they are still holding fine.
