Creepy windows....& 50 Amp

Tired of having my coach consistently blow the wimpy 20 amp breaker in my garage, today I installed a dedicated 50 amp circuit for the coach.  It was nice to be able to run the A/C's while working inside the coach today.  ;D

On another note, I pulled the first of many windows to begin the process of replacing the creapy seals.

I hear you on both counts! We have to be very circumspect on our power useage right now, having only a 15 amp circuit available. Once I put in a gas cook top and oven in the house, I will have plenty left over for 50amp coach hookup. I am also very interested in the creepy seal project (we have about 7 or 8 windows that need this treatment!). Keep us posted!

A quick update on the windows.  Everything with the first window went very smooth.  The hardest part of the process was separating the two panes; the old seals are VERY thick solid rubber.  One window down, six to go.  Hopefully, I'll be done this week if I can complete one window per day.  I'll try to post pics of the next window repair.

Richard:  Yep, Jen and I moved, but we still own our home in Scripps.  It's in Autumn Ridge.

Are you replacing or rejuvenating the calcium carbonate dessicant when the panes are separated?  I'm assuming it has some kind of drying agent.

For what it is worth: any dessicant that  is not used as soon as it is removed from its sealed package has already started to accumulate moisture from the air. If you have to leave some out, rejuvenate it by baking it in the oven at about 250 for an hour or two before putting it to use.
I had a gov't inspector tell me he would reject 47 machines we had built if we put the dessicant in the control cabinets without "cooking" out the moisture. This because the dessicant packages were in an opened barrel. Play safe. Don't put moisture into your windows by putting "wet" dessicant in.

Having several Creation windows with seal-creep, I'm looking at options; have you published/posted your window repair procedure? Thanks!
