Check your drivers side front tire

Well I heard a new one tonight. A member of the forum, Fran and I were discussing our FT over dinner tonight and we both just put on two new tires.  His were steer mine were tag but he found the drivers side inside really checked up and cracked but the rest of his tires were inspected and found to be fine by the tire company.  We talked and he told me he discovered his genset output from the radiator and fan pushes the air under the coach prematurly drying the inside of the tire.  I will check mine tomorrow at first light.

Would be interesting to see if blowouts are usually the driver side front. If I remember correctly the last couple I heard about were left front...  Thanks,

The last blowout on the front tire got us talking about it.  You are right about left front on last phenix we heard about.

On our 1997 U295, the combustion exhaust exits outward and downward just forward of the driver's side front tire. The radiator exhaust exits inward just forward of the driver's side front tire. I notice the heat from the radiator exhaust when I am near the passenger's side front tire. Both air flows are directed away from the tire on the driver's side. The source of heat and exhaust components is near the tire, but appears to be directed away from the tire if the appropriate deflectors are in place.

An extra careful check of the driver's steer tire may be in order, in additional to the normal checks for wear, damage, and pressure.

Would there be extra ozone there, due to any of the aforementioned conditions?

I would think underweigh there would be very little issue but sitting still that area is hotter than the rest of the areas.
