Rand McNally Tripmaker 7710

I love my Rand McNally TripMaker RVND 5510. I have been using it for over 7500 miles. Now the upgraded unit is available. The TripMaker RVND 7710 has a 7" screen, much higher resolution, and you can down load your own POIs. Owners of the 5510 can upgrade to the new one for $150.

For me this will be a no-brainer. However, I'll wait until I get home, in a couple of weeks, as you have to mail in the old one to get the new one.

BTW: I went to the Rand McNally presentations at the Good Sam Rally in Redmond in July. The presenter, the Rand McNally VP in charge of it's development is a long time motorhomer. As he went through the screens and options there were massive oohs and aahs from the audience. Finally one attendee piped up and said something like "Wow, you guys really understand RVing!"
