more storage

While I was trying to figure out the alternator problem I decided to make use of the space above my AGM starting batteries, and the 2 pics show what it looks like. Enclosed wooden box fastened to upper and lower frame-easy to take out for fuel filter service and inside that is now room for my polishes and greases etc. With the metal slides it can support 100lbs and comes all the way out.

Have you done anything with the one on the other side?
Since the muffler is gone, there is a lot of space in my unit.

Dave, the last compartment before where the muffler was that has a door I already put an aluminum box in there a year ago to store my BBQ and cables. As you say there is a lot of room now the muffler is gone but no door to access it. I may try cutting one in next year but would need a door to fit it. Maybe a job for xtreme etc but it is a heck of a long way from here.
