Front TV Replacement

I replaced the front Tv with a new Vizio 26" LED, also remover the old Sony Sat receiver, datron 3000 control and dish (dish stopped working a while back). Every thing is good VCR, Air Ant, Sat on front TV. However no sound from sat (have picture) on the rear or outside TV, everything else works. The new Tv is hooked up just like the original one, with composite cables red, white, yellow from older non HD Direct TV rec, and coax in from the switch box, sound out to Bose through head phone jack. Any one else had this issue, I'm sure I am just missing something. Also have the old Datron 3000 of parts if anyone needs them Free.

Can't answer your question, BUT... I want to get the sound to my Bose from the TV as well.  You went from the TV to the head phone jack on the Bose?  I haven't looked into anything on the back of my TV yet.

Bruce, some tvs are wired so that as soon as you plug in the head phone the main speakers on tv cut off. You should be just able to hook videa and audio cables from tv to Bose and it should work. That's what I did.

From the sat rec to the TV composite in, If You don't have an anilog out for sound(most new Tv's don't), you will need a head phone to RCA cable(radio Shack) to go to the Bose for your sound . My new front TV works great Bose and DVD, air ant. Problem is no sound to rear tv or out side tv from sat rec got picture just no sound.

John, front tv works great, along with the Bose no issues. Looks like the video is going through the TV to the switch box but the audio is not. so it can get to the rear or outside TV. I am going to take it all back apart after supper.

Problem solved, took it all back apart, ran sat input cables to Bose. From bose to tv with video only, then from tv back to bose with audio cable.
