Good customer service from Progressive Industries.
Hi all,
I have an EMS-LCHW50 installed in my 1996 U270. It is about 3 1/2 years old and has worked great all that time.
The other day I lost power to the coach and started looking for the problem. When I checked the EMS it had all 8's on the display so I went to the book to see what that meant. I could not find it in the book so I called Progressive
Industries. It turned out that the 8s meant that the main board was toast. They said that they would send me a new board and display. If I had any problems installing the board they said to call them and a tech would work with me on the phone until we got it done. I said that is great, so how much, and how do I pay. I was surprised when they said that there would be no charge, just send back the old board. I thought that was more than generous as the unit is over 3 years old and it has a one year warrenty. I just wanted to pass this on to the group as it is rare to get this level of service and I sure appreciated it. Now, all I have to do is to see if I can get it installed...
